What Do You Think About?

Shssh… do you hear that? Take a breath and listen. Do you hear yourself? Are you able to hear the thoughts going through your mind? What are you thinking about? Are you thinking good thoughts? Or are you having bad ones?


There’s magick involved when you think about something you desire. To desire anything in life, you must first create the idea of having it in your mind. It’s not just your thoughts that create your experiences, it’s your heart too. When your thoughts are strong enough, they send a signal to your heart. This is where magick comes in. Magick will turn your thoughts when aligned with your heart into your physical reality. 


Good thoughts lead to good experiences in life. Bad thoughts lead to bad experiences. You might be wondering why you would create negative experiences in your life if you have the power to create positive experiences? The answer is simple. You create whatever's in your mind and whatever's in your heart. If you hold negative thoughts and hold hate within your heart, you’re going to create negative outcomes for yourself. 


This is why it’s important to love yourself. It’s important to open your heart as wide as possible without any fear or repercussions of receiving a negative outcome. Having negative thoughts and a damaged heart is most likely the result of someone hurting you. It’s important to heal from the pain you suffered. You must let go of all negative thoughts and open your heart to love. Once you no longer hold anger or hatred towards another, then your heart can receive all the love it deserves. The more you forgive and love yourself, the more positive your experiences in life will become.


Here’s an example of how negative thoughts with hatred in one's heart can create a negative experience: If you hate and are fearful of spiders and this obsession occupies your mind on a daily basis, then you’re going to notice spiders everywhere. You’ll see spiders everywhere you go because that’s what you’re focusing on. To remove the experience of seeing spiders on a daily basis, you must stop your obsessive thoughts about them. The moment you let go of being afraid of seeing spiders, your mind will shift its focus onto something else.


When you’re able to control your thoughts, you then hold the power to create the life you wish to experience. No longer will you be a victim to life because you’ll no longer have uncontrollable or obsessive thoughts.


When your thoughts are loving, you love yourself. When you are loving, your thoughts are focused on the positive things in life. When feeling good your heart will catch your thoughts and magick will do its magick, which results in you having a loving experience. You hold all the power in which direction your thoughts will take you in life. You always have the choice to choose positive or negative thoughts.


If you dislike yourself and if you argue with yourself on a daily basis, your negative views are sending a message to your heart that you aren’t good enough. If you experience less than you imagined, don’t blame magick. Magick always gives you more than enough. It’s you who doesn’t feel worthy enough to receive what it is you deserve. Negative thinking along with a hateful heart will sabotage you from receiving what it is you truly deserve. If you don’t think you’re worthy to have something then you won’t be grateful when magick delivers it to you. You won’t appreciate it when it shows up in your life because you won’t feel worthy enough to have it. If you cannot see how worthy you are, ask magick to help you. Magick will show you how loving you are by being gentle on yourself when it comes to how you view yourself.


The following is an example about a woman named Sarah who is struggling in her decision to eat ice cream before or after she’s eaten her dinner. What Sarah chooses to do will depend on how gentle she is with herself in making a decision on what to do.


Sarah is arguing with herself that if she eats ice cream before her meal then she will not eat the full meal she has prepared for herself. Sarah struggles with two voices in her head. The first voice says, “if you eat ice cream now, you won’t eat your dinner.” The second voice argues, “if you eat the ice cream first, you can save your dinner for later and eat it when you get hungry.”


Sarah has a decision to make. One thought is the voice of reason and the other isn’t. Sarah is tearing herself up over being irresponsible or doing what she’s been taught to do. Eat her dinner then have dessert. Sarah needs to choose which option makes her happier and go with that. That’s it. If Sarah eats the ice cream before her dinner, then she’ll eat her dinner when she’s hungry. If Sarah feels better eating her dinner first, then she can enjoy eating the ice cream after with the same amount of joy. Both options work for Sarah when she is able to see the results with a positive mindset.


If Sarah eats the ice cream first, then feels awful for doing so then her experience has a negative outcome. She may think the ice cream will make her fat or she may feel unhealthy because she ate it first. Sarah’s thoughts can spiral downward and she can end up feeling bad about herself for making a decision she didn’t enjoy making.


The above example is how easy it is to love yourself. The easier it is you are with yourself in the choices or thoughts you have in life, the easier your life will become. The choices you make will become easier to choose because you’re being gentle with yourself.


It’s the same when dealing with the unwanted opinion of others and their judgments of you. If someone calls you, “fat,” the next time you eat, you’re going to struggle enjoying eating your food. When putting food in your mouth, your negative thoughts will result in you holding a negative pattern of self-hate. Not just towards yourself, but to the person who called you, “fat,” too.


Your thoughts are the most important aspect of your life. Your thoughts hold all the power in who it is you become. The power of your thoughts is what generates everything you’ll experience in life. This is why it’s important to be aware of what you think. You have the freedom to think whatever you want? No one can get into your head and tell you what to think. Unless you let them in. Being called “fat” and letting it fester inside your brain and heart will create a problem for you. It’s best to ignore the negative comments people make towards you and focus on the positive every chance you get.


The more you can monitor your thoughts, the more control you’ll have over your life. There are various ways to quieten the mind. Do whatever stops you from thinking. If even for a few moments of time. In the space or pause from thinking, you’ll experience a moment of peace. This is what you’re aiming to achieve. The more inner peace you have, the more you’ll choose which thoughts to keep and which ones to pass you by.


Negative thoughts that keep you up at night or negative thoughts that wake you up in the morning are blocking your path to success. Worrying about something you have no control over is called anxiety. It’s natural to feel anxious when you’re not sure how something will turn out. It's best to think positive when things don’t go the way you planned. By remaining positive, you’ll see a way out. By remaining positive, you’ll see that there are other opportunities better suited for you. Trust magick will lead you where it is you need to be.


Magick wants you to know, “You’re allowed to think whatever you want. No one on earth should hold any power over your freedom to think for yourself. Be careful not to blame others for the thoughts you think, too. There comes a time where you must take responsibility for the thoughts you have. Holding judgmental thoughts about others is dangerous. The quicker you learn to mind your own business in life, the more peaceful your thoughts will be.”


Magick will provide you with the space and the tools to clear out your head. The best method to get away from it all is to try one or more of the following:


  • Sit in a quiet room, alone. Sitting in silence allows your mind to focus.

  • Go for a walk. Walking helps you process whatever's in your mind, which helps you prioritize what’s important and what isn’t.

  • Get a good night's rest. Sleeping shuts off your thoughts so you can let go of whatever has been bothering you. You should awaken feeling refreshed and with a better perspective. 

  • Eat healthy food and drink plenty of water. Being well nourished will feed you mind and body too. Grouchiness and sluggishness from an unbalanced diet or water intake can cause stress on the mind.


Resting when you’re feeling overwhelmed will rebalance your thoughts, too. If you’re always “on the go,” you don’t have time to stop and catch your thoughts. Sure, it’s one thing to always be busy and be productive which leads to your success, but life isn’t meant to be lived on fast-forward. Your life is meant to have a natural balance of work, play and rest.


The experiences you’ve had in your life up until this point are not a waste of time. The good and the bad experiences taught you what you want and what you don’t want. By learning how to control your thoughts, you’ll be able to steer your life in the direction you want it to go. Magick will provide all the rest so you’ll get there, one good thought at a time.
